A Chance to Heal Programming
Throughout the year, A Chance to Heal hosts programming for schools, homes, businesses, community centers, and the public. Our programming focuses on (but is not limited to) three major areas: middle and high school students, adults and families, and the health care community.
Programming Includes:
- Medical Education - specialized continuing education for healthcare providers on the criteria to diagnose and the best practices to treat and/or prevent eating disorders.
- High School Programming - comprehensive workshops that focus on body image, nutrition, and media literacy.
- ParentTalk - conversational workshops held in homes and community centers for parents on preventing eating disorders and raising healthy children.
- Special Events - Each year we hold special programs to educate the public on eating disorders and media literacy. Please see our events page for more information.
